Because of the non-academic nature of Equipping Institute, there should be no expectation that EI units (they are not academic “credits”) will be recognized for transfer or for any sort of academic standing in traditional academic institutions. Since Equipping Institute has chosen to adopt an educational format so different from traditional seminaries and Bible Schools, some may not be comfortable with its position. This could mean that in certain ecclesiastical circles, units from EI may not be recognized as legitimate credentialing for ministry. Before enrolling in EI, check with your ordaining body to be sure that your certificate will be accepted.

If it is your intention to transfer classes from EI to another institution in the future, we suggest that you contact that institution and discuss with them their policies for accepting course work from other schools.
